La Bastide Guest House Self Catering Accommodation In Hartbeespoort

La Bastide offers 3 'French country' style self-catering cottages and 6 additional guest rooms in Skeerpoort in the Hartbeespoort Dam area in the North West. Each of our 3 cottages has its own unique charm and décor, a rustic ambiance gracefully combined with modern comforts. The gorgeous mountain views, picturesque lavender field, country garden, swimming pool and braai facilities, will help you relax during your stay with us.

We are situated in Skeerpoort, close to the Hartbeespoort Dam and in the valley of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains.

The accommodation was designed to cater to the varied needs of the visitor to our area such as:

• Family and friends get-togethers
• Wedding guests from the nearby wedding venues
• Mountain bikers, horse-riders, athletes, golfers and other sports enthusiasts taking part in the many sporting activities and events hosted in our area

COTTAGES - Self Catering

Pecan Tree Cottage: This cottage has a bedroom with double bed and a twin bedroom (2 single beds) and they share a bathroom with shower. It also has a lounge, dining area and kitchen with dstv hotel package. Outside it has a patio with weber braai. It sleeps 4 people.

Geranium Cottage: This cottage has a bedroom with king bed with a full bathroom en suite. It also has a lounge (with an optional double sleeper couch), dstv hotel package, dining area and kitchen. Outside it has a built in braai and patio. It sleeps 2 to 4 people.

Lavender Cottage: This cottage has a bedroom with king bed with a full bathroom en suite. It also has a lounge (with an optionaldouble sleeper couch), dining area and kitchen with dstv hotel package. Outside it has a built in braai and patio. It sleeps 2 to 4 people. 

GUEST ROOMS - No self catering facilities

Sky Guestroom: This guestroom is on the first floor and has a double bed in the bedroom, small lounge with a day bed and bathroom. It has coffee and tea facilities. It sleeps up to 3 people.

Olive Tree Guestroom: This guestroom is a twin room (2 single beds which can be converted to a king upon request) and has a bathroom en suite. It has coffee and tea facilities.

Honeysuckle Guestroom: This guestroom has a double bed and a bathroom with shower en suite. It has coffee and tea facilities.

Sage Guestroom: This guestroom has a double bed and a bathroom with shower en suite. It has coffee and tea facilities.

Jasmine Guestroom: This guestroom has a double bed and a bathroom with shower en suite. It has coffee and tea facilities.

Lemon Tree Guestroom: This guestroom has a king bed, shower/toilet and an optional 2 single beds in an adjacent room. It has coffee and tea facilities.

There is an abundance of fun and relaxing activities to appreciate in and around our area eg. Cable cars, horse riding, quad biking, archery, golfing, game drives, monkey and elephant sanctuary, African market and craft market, mall shopping, cheese farm, zip lining, river rafting, strawberry picking (seasonal), lots of restaurants, hot air ballooning, day spa next door - just to name but a few...

Breakfast: We do not offer breakfast. There are however several excellent restaurants within a 5km distance and just a very short walk away within the gated environment on Mill Lane.
