Home away from home. Birdsview Guest House is conveniently accessible from the main road N12 of Potchefstroom, offering a relaxing, clean, tranquil and peaceful self-catering destination. We have 13 individual rooms with en-suite bathrooms which cater for different needs with queen, double or twin bed rooms, private entrances, 32 inch TVs with DStv, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, a small kitchenettes with a two plate stoves (on request), fridges and microwaves, with a showers. Two rooms has a bath and shower.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request and payable directly to the guest house.
Each room has linen, towel, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery. There is ample secure covered parking, space for long walks offering a wide variety of bird life, a large tranquil garden with braai facilities and a swimming pool. On the one side we have grassland that can be viewed from the first floor rooms and on another side the school sport fields with access that can accommodate some exercise needs.
We are in close proximity to shopping centres, restaurants and the CBD of Potchefstroom. The accommodation is ideal for short term stays like wedding groups or long term staying especially for professionals, students from school or university.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
